Reloading the page helps. Happens more often on big heavy pages, less often on light pages like bugzilla report bug form.
I think this is a retained layers bug. Probably bug 579736. Please download a firefox nightly build and see if the issues is resolved. ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/
