When Firefox is partially overlapped by another (top-level) window, scrolling with mouse gives artifacts in the page content (see the screenshot).

I'm seeing the same problem (only when using the mouse wheel, not when dragging the scroll bar).
Corruption stays until mouse pointer leaves Firefox window, then it reverts to normal.
This is not a duplicate of 522763. 522763 is about some missing menus whereas 583501 is about corruption during scrolling. If some admin reads this, please "unduplicate" this bug report, so that it can get the due attention.
This is still an issue in 3.6.7, as seen on Fedora 13
