User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8 Was visiting a website using Safari Version 4.1 (4533.16). Inadvertently clicked on an actively linked email address rather than just copying it. Because Firefox is set as the default browser, a Firefox browser opened up, following by windows with a spooling number of tabs opening. If I try to close the browser window, a new one opens up with the crazy spooling again. Can only stop it by "control alt escape." This has happened several times now and it really annoying. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Click on actively linked email address 2.Firefox opens 3. Expected Results: For one page to open
Please open the Firefox options -> Application and change the setting for mailto to something else (it doesn't matter what) and close the options dialog. Now open it again and set it to whatever you want.
