User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0E) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0E) Take a look at the screenshot here: http://hidetab.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/hidetab-firefox-guide-1.jpg My open-with list contains quite a few programs yet it is a nightmare to find them because the programs are loaded in a random order. Could we not make it for Firefox 4 that this list has the programs appear sorted Alphabetically? Another option would be to have a search box to filter the list further? Welcome your views on this. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download a file with an unknown filetype. 2. Choose Select a Program to open the file with. Actual Results: The programs listed are in a random order. Expected Results: Sorted Alphabetically to make it clearer.

Version: 3.6 Branch → unspecified
How is it an 'enhancement'? There is no any reasoning for a current behaviour.
