Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.navigate to google.com
2.search for happiness, hit enter

Actual Results:
Nothing happens

Expected Results:
Page should scroll down
Version: unspecified → 4.0 Branch
Start a web page where the web page designer intended that the web page take action if function key 'F1' is pressed. Press F1. The action does not happen.

Reload the web page and click the web page arbitrarily, then press the 'F1' key. The action does happen.

While I think the Google implementation is correct and actually responds to the 'F1' key as expected. I would just be happy to know what (e.g. set focus on the 'body' somehow) javascript needs to do so that the 'F1' and all the rest of the function keys will work correctly when they are pressed the first time after the page loads.
Severity: normal → S3
