This should not cause an error:

Can you verify the sphinx.conf is up to date? (pastebin if possible)

Sorry, there must have been a push for input without a corresponding sphinx update. This is an issue in production.

I found a doc for this:

https://intranet.mozilla.org/SysAdmin/index.php/Sphinx

It doesn't mention input, though. Still, I tried its advice, and things went a little south:

I think something is wrong. Can I have one of you guys look at it?

Right, so we never setup input to auto pull and update it's sphinx configs.

Comment 4

And input.stage now has it's sphinx configs pulled from production and updated, automatically.

Err, that was supposed to mean from git, not production. Sigh.

Alright, config pushed to production.

We don't automatically update production (for obvious reasons), so we're going to have to be told to update sphinx.conf for production when it's needed and we'll do it.

Stage will auto-update as per comment #4
