Build Identifier:
I had created an event on Tuesday that repeats weekly until a specified date. As a had a similar event on Wednesday, I copied and pasted the event from Tuesday to Wednesday. Viewing the properties, the pasted event had no recurrence, and the recurrence settings are grayed out.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create event with recurrence
2. Copy and paste it
Actual Results:
Pasted event has no recurrence, and recurrence cannot be enabled
Expected Results:
Ideally the pasted event would have the recurrence adjusted, possibly after having asked the user whether the pasted event should have recurrence.
If the UI would allow to save a single event via context menu to an ICalendar file, it would have been quite easy to provide a sample to play with. ;-)

Select the event and copy it. Open text editor and paste from clipboard.
