When I type in something in the address bar, auto-completion works and my key-word searches are evaluated, but the page does not open. Doesn't matter if I hit enter or use the "Go"-arrow. So text-wise, perfect. Navigation-wise, nothing.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. CTRL+ D or point and click in the address bar to gain focus.
2. Type in complete URI or partial to use auto-completion.
3. Hit ENTER or click the "Go"-button to access the corresponding page.
Actual Results:  
Nothing happens... Text field in address bar doesn't even lose focus.

Expected Results:  
The browser would access, retrieve and display the page corresponding to the URI in the address bar.

Worked fine, then suddenly stopped. Not caused by add-on installation.
I uninstalled FF 4.0 Beta2 (kept information) and installed it again, but the issue remained.

Does this also happen in Safe mode?
I had this problem too, it was caused by Tab Mix Plus.

Reporter -> Are you still experiencing this issue? Have you tried safe mode or a new profile?

no answer, please try also Firefox 4.0 since work was done to improve the situation. Reopen only if you have consistent steps to reproduce in this latest version.
