When Minefield is minimized, right clicking on the task bar item and selecting the close window option causes the browser to hang. You can maximize the browser by left clicking on the task bar item, but the browser does not respond to anything else and you have to force close the browser from the task manager. If the windows is maximized when you right click in the task bar, Minefield behaves as normal.

Just wanted to add that this only happens if multiple tabs are open.

It looks like the Quit Minefield dialog is being hidden when you try to close the browser in this fashion and if you hit the ESC button on your keyboard, it causes the browser to dismiss the hidden dialog window and allow you to go back to using the browser.
I can confirm it with: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b4) Gecko/20100817 Firefox/4.0b4 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b4) Gecko/20100818 Firefox/4.0b4 The "Quit Firefox" dialog does not appear, if Firefox is minimized (with more than one tab) and I try to close Firefox or shutdown windows 7 (seven). If I then try to reopen the Firefox window I only get such a small window on the top left corner: http://www.album.de/bild/1823364/firefox-400-beta4-build2-error-01b.cfm I have to kill Firefox with the task manager.

Guys, I have discovered that there are 2 different version of this error. If you enable Tab Preview, and close minimized Firefox using Right-click, you will produce what MrX1980 has encountered the small window on the top left corner. If you disable Tab Preview, and close minimized Firefox using Right-click, you will produce a "frozen" Firefox. Maximizing Firefox will produce a unfocused Firefox window with Quit Firefox dialogue missing.

I found this to be a dupe of bug 593307. I'll mark this one as the duplicate because that one is already marked as a blocker
