Reporter -> Does the issue occur with the latest nightly? http://nightly.mozilla.org/
I know those screenshots are pretty old, but yes, in nightly build "built on 25-Mar-2011" it still occurs. And i'm sorry for delayed reply.

I don't seem to be able to reproduce with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:14.0) Gecko/20120316 Firefox/14.0a1 ID:20120316031151 Can you confirm if the issue still occurs with the latest nightly?
;D I actually had to install an add-on to check it, and it still occurs.
just discovered it looks like that both with and without personas
Does this still occur, this looks like it was pre-australis and with new themes being available in firefox 53, I have to wonder... Anyway I've tested character palette extension with Firefox 53 with the default theme as well as the two new light and dark compact themes and I didn't notice tabs being ugly. I also built Firefox from mercurial and as of 2017/06/06 23:10 UTC+1 I didn't see this occurring. Five years after the last comment and a major UI haul or two, can we confirm that this has since been fixed?
Opps, hit post too early, the character palette extension is in fact disabled in nightly due to not being multiprocess compatible. So testing with that extension as an example is probably not going to work for much longer.
