The Mobile team will be using a new newsletter service. We'd like to have a new design away from the existing fennec logo and bannerhead. We'd like the newsletter design complete as soon as possible so that we can start sending out communications once the service is up and running. From what I've been told, this service will be ready in the next 2-3 weeks. We're fairly open to the design -- either use existing newsletter template you've created with more mobile images, or perhaps work off the Browsing without Borders theme. I can send you some of these images for fodder. Target deadline: Thursday, August 26
Thanks Caitlin. I suggest we keep this relatively simple, and use the existing newsletter template with more mobile-specific images in the masthead. We can swap out the masthead conteent include the appropriate text, and also one of our existing mobile illustrations. Options include: * Pocket fox * Flying carpet dude * Mobile Satellite Caitlin, do you have these image files by any chance? I don't think I have the source file for these - except Pocket Fox. The browsing without borders imagery is definitely cool, but pretty complex - so I think it would be difficult to weave that into the header in a way that looks good. Because we can't easily separate individual elements from the art.

Hey Lee. I would say the Flying carpet dude out of the three. (As it showcases one the go the most). That said, any possibility to use any of the browsing without borders imagery (from poster or t-shirt design)? I'm just thinking about something that we can continue in a thematic way and we haven't used it that much. Moreover, it's more male oriented which appeals to our major audience. Let me know what you think. In the meantime, I'll send you the browsing without borders .jpg (but I believe slater/tro have the psds)
