Note: I tried this with an old profile and a new profile. I did not see this on Friday's mozilla-central nightly build.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download the Fennec nightly build 
2. Start it up

Actual Results:
A blank page will show with checkerboards at the bottom 1/5 of the page shown if you're on Android and in portrait mode.

Expected Results:
I'd expect my home page (i.e. about:home) to load
tracking-fennec: --- → ?
This happens any time you go to about:home. I can confirm that about:rights, about:firstrun, about:, about:firefox/fennec, about:crashes, about:config, about:plugins and about:buildconfig are all loading up fine.
This is seen on Saturday's build as well:

Fixed by patch for bug 587597.
