To reproduce this problem go to: http://htmlpad.org/dragdrop.

Then, run the javascript in the addressbar: "javascript:setTimeout(function() alert(5), 5000);void(0);" While waiting for the alert, start a drag and hold it down. After the alert pops up, the browser will become unresponsive.  Also, the object that we are dragging is now shown on top of all windows.

Bulk-downgrade of unassigned, >=5 years untouched DOM/Storage bugs' priority.
