Reinstalling a previous Version of Fireshot did not fix the problem. I reinstalled FF 3.6.8 and the problems remained. Could not get a FF previous to 3.6.8 I need Fireshot desperately for my research. Maybe the trouble is because of my XP-SP1. SP2 or 3 is NO OPTION for me. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.When i try to make a screenshot with Fireshot 0.85 or previous. 2.Since latest update of FF to 3.6.8 3. Actual Results: 3 Errormessages appear 1. xmllite.dll missing 2. Failed to load ssl.dll - possibly reinstall would help ( which did not work ) 3.(Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [ISSSLauncher.openCapture]" nsresult: "0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://fireshot/content/fsoverlay.js :: anonymous :: line 595" data: no]
Hi I did some research. xmllite.dll seems to be usually installed with SP2 on WinXP. Or with the K-Lite-Codecpack (4.5.3)under WinXP-SP1. So everything works fine now ( FF 3.6.8 & Fireshot 0.85 ) since i reinstalled the K-Lite-codecpack Sorry for the first posting
