We should convert Permission to Install Extensions from using a notification bar to using a doorhanger panel anchored to the site identity block.

A couple notes:

- The icon of the puzzle piece and plus sign is a placeholder only
- Icon is 48x48 - important point is that it should be the same size as all other Firefox door hanger notification icons

this is the permission based one (the ability for a site to produce the notifications being covered over in bug 588266)

So is this bug about allowing a site to install extensions, if it is not white-listed yet, or about the add-on installation itself? I'm a bit confused about the mockups attached on this bug.

Yeah, this was going to be the bug for the permission to ask to install, in which case that would be the wrong mockup.

Ok, so re comment 6 this is really fixed. But as long as we do not have a bug # lets close as WFM.
