Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8
Build Identifier: 3.1.2

When ever I use the close button to hide Thunderbird, but keep it running in the background since I want to be notified of new messages, any tabs I had previously are forgotten. When using apple+H or the top menu bar (Thunderbird > Hide Thunderbird) to hide Thunderbird, tabs are remembered.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Thunderbird, use tabs.
2.Close Thunderbird using the close button (Red button on top left of window).
3.Open Thunderbird again, tabs will be gone.
Actual Results:
Any tabs I had previous to closing Thunderbird were gone.

Expected Results:
All tabs that were open previously should be remembered and show when Thunderbird is reopened.

Bug occurs no matter what theme or configuration is being used.
