Suggestion: Implementing a feature allowing the user to remove all hyperlinks when composing a message.
(Microsoft Word has this feature.)
Reproducible: Always

Just to clarify this:
The suggestion is to remove all hyperlinks WITHOUT their anchors (text, images).
(Obviously, deleting links + anchors is already possible by highlighting the link and pressing DEL or backspace)
My 2001 copy of MS Word XP (a word processing SFW, neither a mail client nor Internet browser) already had this feature a long time ago: just select the desired portion of the text and press CTRL+SHIFT+F9
So I would add to the suggestion, that the hyperlinks should be removed for the selected part of the e-mail only. If nothing is selected the whole document should be processed.
This should be a little-effort-high-reward feature.

chrizoo, the good news is that TB already has this feature:
Select text with links in composition, then Format > Remove Links (Ctrl+Shift+K).
