Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b3) Gecko/20100805 Firefox/4.0b3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b3) Gecko/20100805 Firefox/4.0b3 The HTML Window that you get when you click Firefox -> Developer -> Inspect and the Style window when clicking a style both "flash" between the monitors when moving between monitors, or even when moving partially off screen in a multi-monitor setup. It appears that this is a result of Firefox trying to keep the window in full view, or dock it to the side of the monitor. When you move the window from one monitor to another it can't decide which monitor to dock to and appears almost doubled / transparent on both as it quickly flashes back and forth. Something very similar happens if you move the window against the side of the monitor. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Click Firefox -> Developer -> Inspect 2. Move the toolbar type window titled HTML between monitors. 3. You can't miss it. Actual Results: Window flashes back and forth between monitors at such a high speed that it appears transparent on both. Expected Results: Window should move between monitors like any other window, and if you must dock it, simply make the decision once on the Click Release event instead of on the Move event which is obviously happening once for each pixel that the window moves. I am using my laptop + an external monitor in a dual monitor configuration.
Thanks for the report. We're tracking this problem and plan to have it fixed before final release.
