User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:2.0b3) Gecko/20100805 Firefox/4.0b3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:2.0b3) Gecko/20100805 Firefox/4.0b3 back button doesn't work Reproducible: Always Actual Results: back button is never operational Expected Results: Back button should work Firefox 4.0 b3 on 64-bit OS X 10.6.4
I can confirm this bug on b7, candidate build 1. The browser history was still stored and available through the History menu, however the back/forward buttons were not operational as if no history existed for the tabs. Restarting the browser activated the back button, though it did so on all tabs, even those without any history, and after clicking back on one of those who had seen some real action, the forward button still did not become active. These buttons simply seem to have been "locked" into a state.

This issue was initially reported on OSX 10.6.
Newer OS's and latest Firefox versions do not exhibit this kind of behavior, so I'm closing it as WFM. If that's not the case please reopen and add more details. Thank you!
