User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_4; en-US) AppleWebKit/533.4 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/5.0.375.125 Safari/533.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla Firefox 3.6.8 for Max OS X 10.4 and above Cannot download security updates b/c "I don't have authorization." I am the only user of this computer and have authorization for any function. I did a clean uninstall, reinstalled program, and same thing happened again Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install Firefox 2.Wait for software update...this is where the problem is 3. Actual Results: Received a pop up message that stated that I do not have authorization to complete a security update Expected Results: It should have installed the update

If you're still having the issue, could you please attach a screenshot of the message that you're receiving?
Hi, The message about the problem was from 2010. I am not sure why I am getting so many questions about a problem that was so long ago, I forgot that this ever was a problem. And no, I am not having that problem anymore. Is there that big a backlog of unanswered questions about problems?
