Cannot download security updates b/c "I don't have authorization." I am the only user of this computer and have authorization for any function. I did a clean uninstall, reinstalled program, and same thing happened again

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install Firefox
2.Wait for software update...this is where the problem is
3.
Actual Results:
Received a pop up message that stated that I do not have authorization to complete a security update

Expected Results:
It should have installed the update

If you're still having the issue, could you please attach a screenshot of the message that you're receiving?
Hi,

The message about the problem was from 2010. I am not sure why I am getting so many questions about a problem that was so long ago, I forgot that this ever was a problem. And no, I am not having that problem anymore. Is there that big a backlog of unanswered questions about problems?

Probably should have checked the date first :/ Thanks Melissa!

Just standard courtesy to ask, even though it's an old bug. :)
An accident that two of us asked at the same time.
