Hello Alfatango109, *, I can confirm this with Firefox 4.0b4 under Debian SID/Experimental AMD64 as well ... :( So I am not able to register to use Sync ... :(
Well it is a "Beta" program at the best its more like an Alfa to me but i guess the tehnicians just put it there whithout any change. However i have no douth that they will fix it in time for the big firefox 4.0 launch:).
Hello Alfatango109, (In reply to comment #2) > Well it is a "Beta" program at the best its more like an Alfa to me but i > guess the tehnicians just put it there whithout any change. do you mean Firefox or Sync? If you mean firefox, I have tested it with Iceweasel (a.k.a. Firefox) 3.6.8 under Debian SID/Experimental AMD64 and the Sync addon 1.4.4, and am still not able to create an account ... :( > However i have no douth that they will fix it in time for the big firefox 4.0 > launch:). I too :) Sync sounds interesting for me, but as of now it is not usable at all ... :( Have a nice evening Thomas. P.S.: Are you in a position to change the status and the platform? It would be nice, if it could reflect my observation/additional comments as well ... ;)

Good morning Alfatango109, (In reply to comment #4) > > do you mean Firefox or Sync? If you mean firefox, I have tested it with > > Iceweasel (a.k.a. Thanks for the clarification :) I have done a little further testing: 1. If I use Sync setup and choose "I am already using Sync on another Computer" (roughly translated from German ... ;) ), enter my wished username and password there, I get the message - again roughly translated ... ;) - "Couldn't connect to server" ... :( So, maybe there is a connection problem as well, when you want to create an account? 2. I have tested it with Sync 1.5b1, where this issue still exists ... :( HTH Thomas. P.S.: Thanks for changing the platform :)
