User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; he; rv:1.9.1.1) Gecko/20090715 Firefox/3.5.1 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Firefox 3.6.8 I'm sure that many of you use the awesome location bar (or just awesome bar). I found a really annoying bug in it: Let's say that once I've searched a certain term in Hebrew using Google or Youtube (and probably also many other sites), now the search results are saved inside the browser's history. Then, I try to find the search results using the location bar, no problem so far. But when I enter the search results from the location bar, the term that I've searched for is altered into some weird gibberish. (works for every term, for example I've searched for בדיקה, which means 'test' in Hebrew, and when I did the above, Google searched for 'áãé÷ä' instead) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to google.com 2. search for any Hebrew term, for example דוגמה 3. access the search results page from the history or from the location bar. 4. behold.

I have never had any problem with this. It may be a duplicate of bug 552273. Try setting network.standard-url.encode-query-utf8 to true in about:config.
