1. Log in to http://developer-stage.mozilla.org/index.php?title=Special:Userlogin&returntotitle=en 2. Now, click on "Log in to Developer Forums" (https://developer-stage.mozilla.org/forums/ucp.php?mode=login) Expected Results: You should get logged in to the Developer Forums Actual Results: An editable wiki entry called ucp.php loads, with: "ucp.php This page has no content. Enrich MDC by contributing."

The behavior is fine... I think the wording is just off. Stephen: As it is implemented now, you need to login separately into the Forums and Wiki. There is no way to have the sessions be synced when you login to one of them. Until we have SSO, that will not be possible. However, I do see a few usability issues. They should be easy to solve if we do the following: 1. Log in to Developer Forums - /forums/ucp.php?mode=login 2. Log in to Docs Wiki - /index.php?title=Special:Userlogin&returntotitle=en 3. Become an MDN member - /Special:UserRegistration In that order with that exact text, perhaps with a separator between #2 and #3. Sheppy: Can you help make that happen?

Jay: logging in to the Developer Forums doesn't work by itself, even when you're signed out of DekiWiki: http://developer-stage.mozilla.org/forums/ucp.php?mode=login

i don't believe the developer-stage.mozilla.org db is synced with the phpbb db for user accounts. that might explain that issue.

updating the bug summary to reflect the changes requested in comment #1. stephen's original issue is invalid. :-P
Summary: Logging in to Developer Forums creates a ucp.php page → Need better links for MDN Forums and Wiki log ins and registration

As far as I can tell, this is because the staging wiki is not at the same domain name as the staging MDN forum site, so the link doesn't work. This will work once they're on the same domain.

Do you want me to change the skin to use the full URL instead of the partial URL, so we can confirm that that's the reason for the error here?

(In reply to comment #8) > Do you want me to change the skin to use the full URL instead of the partial > URL, so we can confirm that that's the reason for the error here? I don't think the full URL is a good idea, unless we are confident the locale strings in the path won't cause trouble. Stephen's problem is due to what you noted in comment #7, so I'm not too worried about the relative paths. I think just changing the labels and waiting for the correct site URLs to be live will be fine.

Please pull skin from SVN revision 72853 to pick up minor wording changes for login links.
