nisheeth (layout), have you noticed that lxr (and bugzilla queries that result in large numbers of bugs) are a lot slower under 6.0 compared to 4.x? for example, http://lxr.mozilla.org/seamonkey/source/mailnews/local/src/nsPop3Protocol.cpp to prove its not the network, save that html to disk, and then load the file:// url. any ideas?

on my fast window NT box: 4.x, mozilla browser (opt build using NS6 release), and IE all seem pretty similar loading the page from the net. Just an unscientific data point. A profile of this page on linux with a build that included a fix for slowdown caused by the throbber (hyatt's fix to style resolution) would be helpful.
