We need to enable the localization of SUMO in Breton [br], or should we redirect Breton users to French sumo? Michel, this is one of the better places to get the community to help out directly. And, Michel, we'd need "Breton" in Breton again to set this up, please add that here, utf-8 encoded. Thanks.

It would be great to have a breton translation for support.mozilla.com but we are a small team and it would be difficult for us to translate this website entirely. If you don't mind, I would prefer to redirect Breton users to French sumo. And here is "breton" in breton language : brezhoneg Only ASCII characters are used so I suppose I don't need to send it in UTF-8?

Kadir, can we do that redirect?

Michel, yes, we should do that. Axel, I'm not sure exactly how that is solved internally when it's not just a different country code, so I'm cc'ing James.

It seems like for this and other cases (nb-NO/no/etc, zu) we need some mechanism for saying that a locale exists, we're aware of it, but there's no content and it should redirect to a different locale.

I'm not sure to have understand : does that mean that this mechanism doesn't exists yet ? If that's the case, is it planned to make this work soon ?

We're just redirecting /br/ to /fr/ right? The mechanism exists now, so this is easy.

That's OK for me ! But it won't affect other sites that have been localized? (for example http://www.mozilla.com/br/firefox/, http://www.mozilla.com/br/firefox/channel/, ...)

(In reply to comment #7) > But it won't affect other sites that have been localized? > (for example http://www.mozilla.com/br/firefox/, > http://www.mozilla.com/br/firefox/channel/, ...) No, this is strictly a support.mozilla.com bug.

I don't how it is supposed to work but when I type the following URL : http://support.mozilla.com/br I get redirected to : http://support.mozilla.com/fr/br/home which tells that the page cannot be found. I get to the same page when I use the Firefox Help menu on the breton localization. It seems like it don't work correctly
