User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) This appears to be similar to Bug 572105, however I also changed my password for addons.mozilla.org that is probably complicating things. I installed Add-On Collector 1.1.1 and logged into my account (catherdersoftware *at* gmail). It was successful, and I installed a couple of add-ons from my subscribed list (AdBlock and MR Tech). However, when I shut down, something went wrong and Firefox went into a 100% CPU loop. I killed the process and restarted. All seemed to come up well. I then went back into the Collector Subscriptions window and it said I had to log in. When I did, I could see the subscription list flash briefly, then it came back to the login window. The settings on the Collector Options window said that I was not logged in. I then logged into addons.mozilla.org via the browser, which was successful. I then changed my password (one of my rarely-used accounts was recently hacked) and that was successful. I then went back to the Collector login window and tried to log in. The same thing occurred. I changed my password to remove a special character, but that did not help. In the error console, I found this message: "bandwagon(1): Could not update collections list: Error 1401: unauthorized". Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Access Collector Subscription window 2. Log in Actual Results: Screen returns immediately as if login never occurred. Error console shows 1401 unauthorized from bandwagon(1). Expected Results: Subscriptions window

Well, file this under weird stuff. I had restarted a couple of times without any success; login still failed. So for fun, I disabled AdBlock and restarted. Suddenly Add-On Collector login works. I add AdBlock back in, and Add-On Collector still works. I'll lower the priority on this, but it does seem that Add-On Collector has an issue with errors such as the 1401 unauthorized I reported.

This looks very like bug 506501 where error 1401 is mentioned. Not high priority but I will look into it sometime.

Log in works fine for me with Adblock Plus installed.

(In reply to David McNamara [:mackers] from comment #3) > Log in works fine for me with Adblock Plus installed. Also for me. Probably fixed by the fix for one of the other bugs mentioned in this bug.
