We're guessing these were caused by the kernel upgrades. Specifically, build.mozilla.org's /var/log/httpd/ is now owned by root and chmod'ed 700. I'm not sure if there were other changes for us; bug 590029 makes it seem like something else has changed. Changing the perms on the logs should help us debug, at least.

I've changed the permissions to 755 for /var/log/httpd/ , could you give this another try?

Awesome, thanks! In bug 590029 I think the issue was no longer following symlinks. Have the .htaccess or follow symlinks options changed for httpd? (We've worked around this for the time being.)

I'm not sure if anything has changed lately, but are there specific errors that make it look like something has changed?

The symlink issue was my error (started using them, found it didn't work, didn't revert everything). The permissions on the apache log file definitely regressed at some point but is now fixed, so I think we can close this out.
