Bug encountered on tetrisfriends.com, unknown where else to attempt to reproduce. 

When loading flash game in "Arena" mode that requires a live connection for the game, the connection is never made and the game will either hang or respond with "disconnected from server"

Use in FF 3.6.8 works without any issues.
Use in IE 8 works without any issues. 


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. FF4.0
2. go to URL for arena game
3. Wait for load.
Actual Results:  
In most attempts the game will hang or fail to connect.  Sometimes it will connect. 

Expected Results:  
Quick connection for game play (not bandwidth related)

Reporter, do you still see this problem when using a current version in safe mode?   http://support.mozilla.org/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
