User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8 Build Identifier: Thunderbird 2.0 and Lightning 0.9 I upgraded to Thunderbird 3.1.2 version. I was using lightning and it upgraded to 1.2b version. But because I found Thunderbird 3 rubbish and furthermore was not compatible with other key add-ons such as Plaxo for Thunderbird, I re-installed Thunderbird 2.0 version. But Lightning 1. does not run with Thunderbird 2 version so I desinstalled Lightning 1. to reinstall Lightning 0.9. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1."the calendar data in your profile was updated by a newer version of Lightning, and continuing will probably cause the information to be lost or corrupted. Lightning will now be desabled and Thunderbird restarted" 2.Each time I enable Lightning, it won't enable until I restart Thunderbird 3.Same message pop up again and Lightning won't be enabled Actual Results: Thunderbird starts OK but there is no way to enable Lightning
Sorry, this won't happen. The release notes mention that you should back up your profile before upgrading, although I know this isn't very visible from the addons updater. What would need to happen to fix this bug is that we write a downgrader for each database schema change. Between 0.9 and 1.0b2 there have been a lot of database changes. Even if we do write those, then its likely there will be dataloss when going through an upgrade -> downgrade -> upgrade cycle. What you can do to retrieve your data is to export everything to .ics files in Lightning 1.0b2 using the export wizard, then create a new Profile in 0.9 (see <https://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/kb/Profiles>), and then import the previously exported data. To locate your profile, see this page for more information: https://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/kb/Profiles
