As some other projects do on major releases, maybe xulrunner pkg-config files should be versioned to permit a releases cohabitation.

Attachment: Patch that modify the Makefile.in of the pkg-config files installation

It basically patch the Makefile to avoid file rename, it might be good to rename those files (and skip the second part of the patch)

This does nothing for mozilla, it really hurts other packages that link using pkg-config files for xulrunner. This requires all packages to be checked and then updated to have support for each version release which is rather useless.
