Firefox used to handle its default browser check correctly.  

Recently, however, I moved my user folders to a different internal HDD (following these instructions: http://www.zdnet.com/blog/bott/vista-hands-on-7-move-user-data-to-another-drive/215).  It worked fine for just about all my software, except that Firefox can no longer figure out it is the default browser.  This is true both at start-up and via the "check now" button in options/advanced.

Firefox is, however, the default browser.  It appears on the vista start menu as such, and I have set it through windows.

It looks to me as though firefox is checking some hard-coded path rather than the proper vista variable.  This was not a problem with old thunderbird, but is a problem since I updated to 3.1.2.

1. Open Firefox
Actual Results:  
Prompts to be set as default browser

Expected Results:  
Not prompted because it knew it was the default

Please attach the install.log located in the Firefox installation directory.

Which folders specifically did you move?
