Trunk nightly (2.1b1pre) from 20100829 does not open mail window when new mail notification is clicked.
On my Windows 7 x64 box, the notification icon itself is still displayed when it should be, and shows tooltips - but it just won't open open the mail window.
Trunk nightly from 20100825 still worked, but then windows installer builds were not available on 8/27 and 8/28.

Do you get any message in the error console if you try to open the mail window?

No, I do not - the Error Console window has nothing added to it when I click the "New Mail" notification icon - this is with the "show all messages" setting, BTW.

As of the 20100903 nightly trunk build (aka "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b6pre) Gecko/20100903 SeaMonkey/2.1b1pre"), the expected functionality has been restored.
No, I didn't reboot or anything - just installed the 8/30 and 9/1 nightly trunk builds, with no change. Then with the 9/3 nightly trunk build, WFM. :)

Possibly the fix checked in for Bug 592041 fixed this also?
