Details

When I get a "Connection refused while ..." or a "The operation timed out when
attempting to contact ..." dialog on my screen, mozilla locks up and starts
eating all avaliable CPU. It's like it's polling for the OK-response instead of
waiting silently for an event.

This has been going on for as long as I can remember. So it's not a new bug. I
tried to search bugzilla for a similar bug, but I couldn't find any.
I'm pretty sure I reported or am cc on the bug that you were seeking. Maybe asa
will find it.
This seems to be a dupe of bug 56978
