Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b4) Gecko/20100818 Firefox/4.0b4 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0E)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b4) Gecko/20100818 Firefox/4.0b4 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0E)

When launching the Adobe Reader (9.3) plugin to view a PDF in Firefox, the window chrome above the location bar will become corrupted and revert back to standard Aero (without glass). Even after closing the PDF, the area of the window that is supposed to be glass continues to render improperly and the window controls (minimize, maximize, close) do not function.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a PDF in browser. Adobe Reader plugin must be installed.
2. Observe window chrome behavior.
3. After navigating away from the PDF or closing the tab, notice that the problem persists for the remainder of the browser session.
Actual Results:
The browser chrome above the location bar rendered improperly and did not fully function.

Expected Results:
The window chrome should not have been affected by using the plugin.

Using the default theme.
Firefox 4 Beta 4
Windows 7 x64
Dell Inspiron 6400
2 GB RAM
I would like to note that the Java Runtime plugin can also cause this to occur.
Reproduced using JRE 6 Update 21 on same OS/computer configuration as listed in original bug filing.
