Thunderbird 3.1.2 (uptdate to 3.1.2 made today) 2. outlook 2003 with email exchange server (hosted by third party) Until the update to 3.1.2 all worked fine. Afterwards, outlook 2003 and Thunderbird were hanging. Interrupting one of both and starting again only one of these programs, there were no problems. But when both programs are working (though with different eMail-adresses) then program are very slow, hanging and crashing. Update to 3.1.2. seems to be pure ****. Reproducible: Always

Joachim, I don't understand what your issue is, can you try to explain it once more please ?

It's quite unclear why outlook AND thunderbird would both behave the same, unless it were hardware and software they had in common, or thunderbird was totally trashing the system resource-wise? joachim appears to be gone, so -> incomplete but if you still see this problem when running version 3.1.4, please comment in the bug. And if thunderbird truly crashes, please provide crash report id per http://support.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/kb/Mozilla+Crash+Reporter#Viewing_crash_reports
