User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b6pre) Gecko/20100901 Firefox/4.0b6pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b6pre) Gecko/20100901 Firefox/4.0b6pre Switching to tab is broken when you use a new tab to switch to a tab group with only 1 tab. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open some tabs (App Tabs will not affect the bug) 2. Group them into 2 groups 3. 1 group must contain only 1 tab. (It does not matter how many tabs the other group have as it will not affect the bug) 4. You group 4 tabs into the other group 5. Open a new tab in the other group 6. Use it to switch it to the group with only 1 tab 7. You will discover a error in Tab animation in Panorama. note: It does not affect the bug if you get the group with 1 tab by closing the other tabs in that group. you will end up with the same bug if you follow the STR. Important: Must use "New Tab" to switch to "group with 1 Tab". If you switch to a group with more than 1 tab, or if you don't use a new tab to switch tab, you will not get the error/bug.

What UI are you using to switch to the other group here?

Never Mind that it seems that I cannot reproduced the bug any more. Instead I discovered some other bug. STR: 1) Open few tabs in Firefox. 2) Group them into a few groups. 3) Open a group with only 1 new tab 4) Use the new tab to switch to tab in another group. 6) The group disappear. 7) Open another group with 1 new tab 8) You will find that the new tab that disappear, reappeared.

I am able to reproduce. This is Not 'resolved'. I could not get out of 'Tab Group' view after clicking 'New Tab' I added, just for fun, the Group Tabs icon to the toolbar. Closed customized, clicked on GroupTabs button (10x) and Nothing happened. I clicked the 'New Tab' + on tab bar and it opened a new tab, but in Tab Groups View. I could Not close tab groups, could not choose a tab (page). Clicking on previous page (in tab group, as iconnized page) animated page as if it were enlarging to 'open' or become the page i am viewing, but only reduced back to an icon. Over and Over. I could Not get out of Tab Groups. I had to kill firefox. Landis.

It would help a lot if you can tell us about what Add-ons/plug-ins are installed in your Firefox. If you try and reproduced it in a new Profile or with add-ons disabled, it will also be very helpful. This bug might not contain the exact problem that you are experiencing right now, in future it will be better to file a new bug about your problems instead of commenting it in a old bug. This is because usually new bugs will be more focused by the community than fixed old bugs are. I cannot reproduce what you have done, can you rewrite a STR ? Thanks
