If Firefox is closed and an external link is opened that would cause Firefox to launch, once the Profile Manager shows up, the link is ignored and when a profile is selected (even just default) the page that appears is just the home page.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Close Firefox if running.
2. Set Profile Manager to start up every time
3. Click on link from external application
4. Select Profile
Actual Results:
Firefox continues to open and the home page is presented.

Expected Results:
The link that I clicked on should have been shown in place of (or in addition to?) the home page.

Don't know if this is Mac only and if it's only appearing because of the Profile Manager.
Confirmed. We should fix this, especially now that we expect people to run Nightly, Aurora and Firefox builds when developing.

I can also confirm this annoying unexpected behavior has been around for many years and many versions. I remember it from the Firefox 3.x days and am currently running FF 22 still seeing the same problem.
