Bug 430826 comment 118 shows a typical confused user. Now, it's true the poor user didn't manage to find SUMO, but if the user had found SUMO, there wouldn't have been an article mentioning that the solution to getting QuickTime to work if you get the blocked plugin message is to upgrade. I'm not picky about where or how such an article would go :)
Something like http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Java+Deployment+Toolkit+Blocked It's a separate bug, but the blocklist page should really refer people to SUMO rather than referring them to bugzilla.
