currently syncing preferences also syncs personas. however working with two computers on the same desk, i need to have strong visual indicators to discern the two. specifically i would like a different persona for each computer, while still sharing all other preferences.
It is already possible to disable persona syncing by disabling the services.sync.prefs.sync.lightweight* preferences. Moving this bug to the Firefox Sync: UI component because at that point it'd be a UI enhancement.

My gut on this is WONTFIX, curious to hear faaborg's take.
On further reflection, will just mark as WONTFIX, at this point user feedback is generally positive, so we won't change this without significant feedback.
