The latest 32bit Minefield 4.0b6pre has slower D2D performance (less revolutions/min) than FF 4.0b4 and the latest 64bit Minefield in Microsoft's "Psychedelic Browsing" test. I tested 5 times with each browser. Screen size 1280x1023 (full screen mode).

I suppose there's some sort of glitch in the 32bit MF.

Likely a dup of: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=593361

In about:config try turning off: layers.accelerate-all restart browser and re-test. If you get better numbers, then its likely this will be fixed by:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=593268

From what I understand.
Tried also the potato gun thing:

fps/score/seconds

MF 32: 44 / 5399 / 15,1
MF 32: 60 / 11105 / 20,9 (layers.accelerate-all off)
MF 64: 60 / 11110 / 20,9
FF4b4: 60 / 11107 / 20,9
FF4b4: 17 / 1247 / 8,0 (non-D2D)

I got 1774/599 from the psychedelic test with MF 32bit layers.accelerate-all off, so changing the setting solved the problem.

JK,
Is it OK now?
