User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b5) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b5) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b5 With HW acceleration enabled my yahoo takes a very long time to load when compared to disabled, especially during startup(ie if you have My Yahoo as your home page). Considering that My Yahoo is the most popular home page in the world this is a pretty big issue Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Set my.yahoo.com as homepage 2.Enable HW acceleration 3.Restart Firefox Actual Results: Page takes 5-10 seconds to render Expected Results: Should be less that 5 seconds

Hrm, it's not slow at all on my machine, could you go to about:support and list what's under your Graphics section? Also are you logged in perhaps? Maybe the log in page is different and that's why I'm not seeing it.

Just wanted to add that during startup the whole browser freezes until the page is rendered and that it's most noticeable during the first run of the browser
I need someone to confirm this before we can block on it.

Hey just an update, this no longer happens with the latest beta when starting FF in safe mode, but it still happens during normal startup. I guess this means it's caused by an addon so you could call this resolved?
The safemode disables not only the addons, the hardware acceleration and the jit is disabled as well. Disable all addons in the addon manager and test again.
The problem persists after disabling the addons. To describe it better, after FF starts up and the tab is loading the cursor turns to the "working" circle and the window turns to (Not responding) for a few seconds.
Theodore do you still see this problem?
