User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.9) Gecko/20100824 Firefox/3.6.9 Build Identifier: After I updated Thunderbird to version 3.1.3, I am not able to dowload new email messages in my inbox. The activity bar constantly shows "Downloading message 1 of 17" but no message downloads after hours of activity. I have uninstalled thunderbird and then re-installed it again but the same behavior persists. Please help. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open thunderbird 2. 3. Actual Results: Just opening Thunderbird cause this behavior. Expected Results: Nothing Just downloaded my new email into the Inbox.

And I have been using Thunderbird along with firewalls for years. This problem never happened during my 5-6 years of Thunderbird usage. The problem persists even now. Unable to download any emails.

Hi Wayne, The abnormal behavior stopped by itself. I am using Thunderbird normally now. Thanks for your concern. Much appreciated. Take care.
