All emails that contain embedded or linked images get horizontal scan lines as I scroll down the preview pane. If I scroll back up, it wipes the lines. Scroll down again, they reappear as the images appears on the screen. Lines appear over both text and images. See linked image for screenshot.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select email with images.
2. Scroll down.
Actual Results:
Lines appear across email.

Expected Results:
No lines, preferably.
According to others that have/had this problem, Apple has a video driver update for MacBook that fixes this problem on Snow Leopard 10.6.4:
http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1083

At any rate, disabling extensions also prevents the problem (i.e., the problem does not occur in Safe Mode).
Katy does the solution pointed out by Michael work ?
I have downloaded and installed the graphics update, but am still getting the artifacting. I'd rather not disable extensions. I only have the Australian Dictionary one, and the Compact Header one. Is there another solution?
I can only relate my own experience, which is that I only see the "artifacting" after I have clicked on the "More" link (to see more addresses) AND I have the "Compatibility Reporter" extension enabled (the only extension I have installed).
I don't have to click anything for it to happen... I can't make it STOP happening.

:(

Are there any reports I can send you guys, or test I can do, to give you more information?
The last update fixed this problem. Please close!
