User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.9 When opening context menus in Firefox 3.6.9, the menu lags while only showing the outline. Usual latency is around 1-2 minutes per menu. Happens every time, does not stop when re-loading same context menu. Rolled back to 3.6.8 and is not an issue. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Firefox 3.6.9. 2. Press or click any key or menu listing that opens a context menu. 3. Wait for 1-2 minutes (avg.) for context menu to load. Actual Results: Context menu lags when prompted to open, every time. Expected Results: Context menu opens fast and easily. The context menu still works (as in, when a link is clicked- it opens as usual), despite the invisibility of the words.
What do you mean in step 2? Can you give more detailed steps? Are you talking about the main menu? What happens when you run Firefox in Safe Mode (http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe Mode) with all extensions disabled?
(In reply to comment #1) > What do you mean in step 2? Can you give more detailed steps? Are you talking > about the main menu? What happens when you run Firefox in Safe Mode > (http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe Mode) with all extensions disabled? Step two is otherwise stated, "Preform an action that opens a context menu." For further clarification, the menu bar (File, Edit, View, Bookmarks, 'Right-clicking', etc) is the definition of 'context menus' in this report.
Can you please test in safe mode?
