My graphics driver, crashed and recovered, Mozilla was frozen on driver recovery
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Firefox
2.Wait
Actual Results:
"Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered."
Expected Results:
Not crashed the driver
Dell M4500
Windows 7 65-bit
Nvidia Driver Version 180.21
Quadro FX1800M
DirectX 11.0

Your logic is wrong.
The driver should not crash whatever an application does. This is a 100% driver bug. We have a bug report (basically only for tracking not for fixing) if you got this with a FF4beta and the new hardware acceleration.

It only happens when FF4B5 is open. Also when it does happen every other application recovers but FF4.
As you can see I'm new at this, if FF can't be the cause thats fine but as of now FF4 is unstable on my system which is otherwise stable.

I think this is a dupe of bug 587271
FYI: I have the same problem with a crashing nvidia driver., I hope that Nvidia fixes their driver.
