From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.5 [en] (Win95; I) BuildID: 2000101520 For unread messages in newsgroup, the status is not shown as "New" somtimes. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open mail window. 2.setup news account. 3.subscribe for newsgroups. 4.Open messages in one newsgroup. 5.Make "status" column is visible in the mail window. Actual Results: Unread messages in the newsgroup are not marked as New sometimes. Expected Results: Unread messges should have "New" status.
There is a difference between unread and new. Messages only get marked "new" the first time they come in. Is that what you are seeing fail?
