For the last 3 days I've left seamonkey running on my machine overnight (near RTM build from sweetlou). When I've come in in the morning, the browser is locked up -- the windows won't repaint, and nothing will revive it. I have to kill it with taskmanager. (Taskmanager shows that it's not really taking up that much memory (33M) at the time it deadlocks.) Chris Waterson said he's been seeing the same thing, and suspected that it was related to the screen saver running. I am running a screen saver which doesn't display anything, but just blanks out the monitor. I was also suspicious that it could be related to my SERA connection timing out since each morning I've been timed out of SERA, and the SERA reconnect dialog is up. I'm going to download the latest and leave seamonkey running again tonight -- this time without SERA running, and without the screen saver. It could be that something else is just deadlocking after a while.
Forgot to add that the browser appears to be sitting in a dialog box each morning when it's locked up. I can see the outline of the dialog box window, and its contents don't repaint either. The dialog seems to be attached to the mail window. I just disconnected from SERA and the mail window popped up a dialog that said "Unknown error" -- I suspect from the broken network connection I had back to the imap server. I'm not going to let this browser sit again to see if I can reproduce it (RTM bits from 11/9). This time I've already quit SERA so we shouldn't get the dialog from imap. I also killed my screen saver. Cc'ing mscott for imap.

warren, please reopen if you're still seeing this. I haven't had any problems with Mozilla locking up when left running overnight in the last few months.
