Happens on my Lenovo R61i with Intel graphics card.

This is regression between:

I have a slightly different behavior:
When I run FF for the first time after a Windows start-up, FF window is blank during about ten seconds.
If I run FF after another FF session or after a new Windows session, there is no problem.
This problem has appeared on trunk since D3D9 is enabled by default.

After reading again bug 593678, it seems that comment 0 is a dupe, and I think comment 5 is about comment 0.

I can not reproduce with D2D ON or OFF the behavior I described in comment 1.
So WFM.

If you have/had a different bug please next time open a new one for your "slightly different issue".

I can take a look, but I need guidance, as I don't know the code in this area well.  Bas, could we meet on irc and discuss details?
