Sounds like AMO is on it's own cluster, but none of the other sites (SAMO, VAMO, StAMO) made it to the new cluster. They should all be on the same boxes.

Why? I like the idea of keeping some separation vs. all eggs in one basket approach.

We need to be able to flush the URLs from the front end on all the AMO instances.

Works for me. If the site is going down on Tuesday for the db thing, we could do it then too if you like. Whatever works for you.

We also need downtime to upgrade from Zeus 7beta to 7.

An alternative to flushing StAMO urls would be to make sure all the urls have some kind of hash in them so new ones just worked (this would be a change on our end). That would keep the separation.

I like that. We're adding hashes to some pic urls already.

Yeah, that'll be more realistic for a CDN too. WONTFIX!
