It seems like the graphics/video buffer overlapping some data in these cases. You can see this behavior in my before/after images: http://clients.inventizone.com/bugs/flash_before_scroll.jpg http://clients.inventizone.com/bugs/flash_after_scroll.jpg Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a page with Flash content 2. Scroll the page up/down and see what happens with the Flash content box Actual Results: Garbage shows up in the Flash content box (image data from the surrounding page content) Expected Results: Correctly display Flash content
Same in beta 6, tested with a brand new profile, still same. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b6) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b6
I get the same thing. Tried switching to Direct2D, updated flash, updated video drivers. Does not happen with any other browser, but has been going on since at least beta4. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0b6) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b6
Can you disable hardware acceleration: in Options -> Advanced -> General, uncheck "Use hardware acceleration when available" and restart Firefox, and see if you still have the problem? If not, this is a duplicate of bug 587508.

Disabling hardware acceleration solves the problem, but this is only a workaround not a real solution.
